Procedure for Mains Electricity Activated Electro Permanent Lifting Magnets

 

The control box EP-C30 for electro permanent lifting magnets is different from EPB-C30. EP-C30 is the control  for Mains Electricity Activated Electro Permanent Lifting Magnets or a lifting system with a few modules, while the EPB-C30 is for Battery Activated Electro Permanent Lifting Magnet System.

In order to allow the user to easily read the operation steps at any time, EP-C30 is printed with a brief Operating Procedure at its front panel.  It is as follows:

1. Select “ADJUST LIFT CAPACITY” to “MAX” except for stacked thin sheets, and then turn on the “POWER” switch.
2. Press “MAG” button - “PARTIAL MAG（LIFT PERMIT）” would light up in orange and an intermittent alarm would sound. The lifting magnet now would only have partial lifting capacity.
3. Hoist the lifting magnet with the load - the orange light for “PARTIAL MAG（LIFT PERMIT）” and the alarm sound should be off in a few seconds. Meanwhile, “FULL MAG” lights up, indicating full lifting capacity has been reached. IF NOT, STOP THE LIFTING.
4. After the lifting magnet and its load have been landed on the ground, simultaneously press “DEMAG” and “UNLOCK DEMAG” buttons to release lifting magnet from its load.
